If one more person comes up to me and starts singing twinkle twinkle little star, I will explode! Curse my stupid dad for being stuck with a horrible last name, the last name being "Twinkle." I mean you mine as well just stick a note on my head saying, "Go ahead make fun of me, I don't mind!" Its not that a lot of people make fun, if you could say that there are a lot of people in our town, if the sign at the beginning of Maple Road as any part, with it's hanging letters and the fading numbers: 225 population, it's a indication that there are barely any people here. But the main point is, it's annoying when people sing whenever they see me or call out, "Hey twinkle toes!" At least our town is small, I don't know what I would do in a city, I'm a county girl and I'm proud. Everything is quiet in our little town, with the little farms and the country music open nights at the little town square we have. That is until a mysterious landscaper, starts trying to tear town our quiet town, for a super mall. And, I Hadley Twinkle, being the curious nosy person, will stop at nothing to stop my quiet peaceful little town, from falling apart. I swear on the little star, up above the world so high.

The world is loud. There are those who make no sound. Billions of people on the planet, some make no sound, some hear no sounds, and some don't see what's making the sound. Humans take their voice for granted, they don't realize what it's like not to be able to say what you're thinking. Humans don't realize what it's like not to be able to listen to the world. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
