Life has always been pretty easy for fifteen year old Gabby Blackwood, with pretty good grades, a small but really awesome group of friends at school, and finally a really good family.

Though all of that is about to change for her, because when her tragic fall occurs, she is brought to the hospital, only to find out the devastating news that she has cancer.

Thinking that from here on out, her life is going to just crumble to bits, Gabby starts to think about giving into her cancer and just letting it take her away from the world slowly, until she meets Jayden, a sweet, nice, funny boy down the hall from her.

With Jayden always being able to put a smile on Gabby's face, the two become fast friends, and Gabby's spirits start to lift up, but one thing keeps nagging at her. Why is Jayden at the hospital?

Worrying about your possible first love dying can be more than absolutely terrifying, but will these two be able to fight their sicknesses together, possibly win the battle, and live happily ever after, if they learn to accept living in this new world, full of feelings, and not letting the fight interfere with being their regular average teenagers?
