'Swoop Gangs' or 'Swoopers' are gangs and clubs of riders of high speed swoops. These vehicles, described as an "engine with a seat", are often much faster than regular speeder bikes and are usually custom built.
Some swoopers are highly efficient criminal organizations that can rival even criminal cartels and some are low level scruffy thugs. Others swear they are not criminals at all and are simply enthusiasts who like to ride. Some are weekend warriors who work government and I.T. jobs during the week. Many of them skirt all of the lines simultaneously.
They are the bikers of the Star Wars universe.
Think Sons of Anarchy meets Star Wars.

(Mafia!Romano x Reader) I have recently gotten back into the Mafia AU so let me explain how I think it works. There are the five different mafia families; Braginsky, Wang, Vargas, Williams, and the Yakuza. Kiku plays a different role in the story, so the Yakuza is run by Im Yong Soo (and allegedly his elder brother North Korea but we don't talk about him). Now before you yell at me about how the Yakuza are "a japanese based organisation" you're wrong. They also exist in Korea. The Braginsky family deals in illegal firearms, the Wang in drug trafficking, Vargas in cybercrime and illegal weapons, Williams in illegal trading of natural resources and wildlife and the Yakuza in human trafficking. That's about it for now, the backstory starts in the first chapter.Complete
