In this story Abby, a fourteen year old girl is the "new guardian" and meets all of the guardians as well as Muse. But Pitch Black is back, and with a new nightmare apprentice, they capture the guardians. Abby must know what to do about the mixed emotions and strange connection with Jack Frost, Muse, and an old friend now the nightmare apprentice.
