Holly Matsfeild is a fifteen year old girl born on christmas day in the year 2000. On that same day, five years later, her parents died in a horrific car accident. Holly has been a bit "passive-aggressive", as she likes to call it, about the christmastime. The bright lights and christmas carols only remind her more of her parents death, thus locking herself in her room every christmas, as her cousins put her gifts outside her door.
But she knows that this year will be different. Why? Because she realized, every five years, something big happens on christmas. her birth. her parent's death. her dog's death. whatever is next has to be good, right?
