It has been fifteen years since Moonwatcher first set foot in the Jade Mountain Academy. Former SkyWing queen, Scarlet, is dead, and Darkstalker has become forever silent. The guardians of the Academy have tried not to dwell in the past of it too much, instead focusing on the new students that arrive to Jade Mountain every year. Some from previous years return, while most move on with their lives. This batch of new students, although, may bring another peaceful year after the Scarlet turmoil...

And now Moonwatcher has taken the role of teaching young dragons in the Academy of the dangers of animus magic.

But being that it's her first year, Moonwatcher finds herself once more lost within the waves of confusion. What's more, she keeps having dreams of a SandWing who she once called a friend. Even when Qibli flies in the stars with the souls of other dragons, Moonwatcher can't help but feel that he's still alive, somehow watching out for her.

And it doesn't help when a young mind reader named Mockingjay is seeing Qibli in her own dreams with what seem to be warnings.

Somewhere, in the Academy, dragons are hiding a deadly secret.

One that could cause another long, bloody war, all starting with the tribe hidden within the ocean.

They're here. Who's here? "See for yourself. Stay low." I whispered. The two dragons snuck up alongside me, but I sensed Moon and Qibli with her. I heard a soft gasp as Moon got her first look at the enemy. "They look so small." "And what are those things in the water?" Qibli asked. "Ships. Supply ships." I gravely said. "They're probably establishing a beachhead to prepare for operations here." "Operations?" I turned over to face Qibli. "To prepare for war, SandWing. These people are here for war." A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place? Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds? Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series! This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties. I did not read any of the arc 3 books when I wrote this, I only gathered information from the WOF Wiki. I do not claim ownership of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. This is a fan fiction series. Part 1 of 6 of the Wings of Honor Series.

READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION OR YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THE STORY!!! (I'm pretending that the Pantalan Stuff didn't happen because we don't even know how it ends.) There is an assassin out to get Glory, and according to Moon, it ends up killing her and Deathbringer as well, so Glory goes into hiding, tricking everyone in the tribe, including Deathbringer into thinking she is dead, so the assassin will leave Glory's friends and scarce family alone. But to fulfill the trickery, she had to let the married couple Moon and Qibli, as well as Turtle, Kinkajou, and Sunny in on her plan. They are all very good liars, but the question is: Can Glory keep her identity a secret? And if she accidentally reveals, what will become of the future? Sorry to all the WinterWatcher fans out there, promise I'll get to them somehow. CW!! (cringe warning lol) This is really old and was like- my second fanfic, so it's really cringey. It's still up here because people like it somehow. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Just a lil heads up, there are Dragonets involved. :) #1 in GloryBringer, December 18, Friday, 2020. ^^
