Julia Red is a high school senior. However she is the quiet one, the one who writes and believes society has everything all wrong. When her school presents a new element, Julia is thrown into a situation that she doesn't know how to approach. A situation the involves her best friend, the wrongly labeled bad boy; the new American twins, that everyone wants a piece of; the star jock and the female activist.

While battling through family fights and the death of a friend, Julia learns more about herself than ever thought possible. Through tough situations and new friends, Julia finally discovers what it means to fit in with the rest of society.
