The Mask is a short play. It shows how people wear a fake mask just to impress people and don't show themselves as what they are. I also tried to cover some topics related to pressure from studies. Why do we let pressure rule our lives ? Can't we follow our dreams. Students commit suicide, but what do they get ? Nothing. Instead they hurt their loved ones.

I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Complete

Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down. Every television, billboard, and magazine is covered with models. Models that are supposed to be role models, for us. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect life. I have none of those things. All my life I've never cared that I was over weight, and didn't wear makeup. Who knew a boy could change all of that? The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. It's funny how wrong you can be about a person. You may think that you love someone for who they are, but they turn out to be the exact opposite. I know I was completely wrong about a few people. It's crazy how you may know someone, when really you don't know shit. Why are people so manipulative? Why? Does it turn them on or do they do it because it's "fun". I thought that life was supposed to be fun and exciting. All about exploring new things and learning nature. That's what we're either taught or told, but they're wrong. Life is cruel. "Jess, would you please get his order." Lisa winked at me and pointed the guy near the door. She is my one and only bestfriend since kindergarten. "Okay." I wore my waitress apron and put my phone and car keys on the pocket. I dragged myself to the guy's table to get his order. "Good Morning, Sir. Can I take your order?" One thing about Jessica is that, she hates guys because she was 'only' cheated and used by four guys already. They used her money and these four guys, she'll see them again at school and that bothers her so much. She don't feel love or hurt from guys anymore. Her heart is numb. It feels nothing. For guys. These four guys made Jessica a cold and heartless person. My life used to be pretty boring. Everything was average. Normal family, normal looks, normal house, normal job, normal life. The only non-boring aspect of my life was my best friend which was only because she always managed to mess it up somehow. I didn't really mind much because it kept things interesting. That is until she disappeared leaving me to care for her fatherless child with nothing more than a few hundred pounds and a sorry note. She did ruin my old life. She ruined everything that I'd actually cared for. My parents hated the fact that I was 'throwing my life away' for a child that wasn't mine. Not to mention illegally. I dyed my hair blue in rebellion. My own way of saying "F*CK YOU!" ...They kicked me out shortly after. I couldn't find a decent job in the area and the rumors became so vicious that I just left and never looked back. Old life: Destroyed, unraveled, completely gone.
