Sixteen year old Kevin had lived in an adoption home for the past four years of his life, until a family adopted him right before Christmas. Kevin is obviously overjoyed, more so when he finds out that the family is taking care of a colleague's son, Alix, for a year while Alix's mother takes business leave. Kevin quickly discovers that Alix is a lot more complex than he thought, and he decides he is going to attempt to break down Alix's walls and win him over. This, however, proves to be more than Kevin bargained for.
[Rated PG 13 for mature language and excessively long chapters...Also lots of Kelix feels. Have an inhaler on hand. Lolzor just kidding, I'm not that good. But I'll try my best. May be changed to 'Rated R' later on if the story takes a turn for the boys. (•^•)]

((I'm discontinuing this because I'm in the process of rewriting this book. You can find the rewrite on my profile under the same name but different cover. I'm only leaving this book up for nostalgia purposes because I wrote this back in middle school and so many people loved it. So without further ado, please enjoy and check out my rewrite of Dressing Like a Girl)) Ohio's life was nothing special to him, being adopted by two gay men, suddenly having two older sisters who are also adopted, and a somewhat sketchy aunt. Even with this being the case, him and his new family mush together like it was met to be. Nothing major really happened in his life besides that until one day he receives a package from his aunt. A package that changes his perfectly normal life forever. All of the trigger warnings are in bold letters and at the end of the triggering scene there is a bold note letting you know it's over incase you skipped the scene. My notes are also in bold letters but you don't have to read them if you don't want to. OVERALL TRIGGER WARNINGS ARE: Language warning, sexual assault, mention of rape, rape, manipulation Be sure to vote, comment, and enjoy the book!!
Terrible Ideas
Where Max somehow gets roped into one of his sister's stupid schemes and ends up in way over his head, completely out of his comfort zone, and quite sure he's just met his dream man. A man who happens to think Max is a girl. *** "An excellent recommendation. You're not just a pretty face, then?" "You think this face is pretty?" Max tried to say it with more sass, but it came out kind of soft. His face went red and he turned sharply to the books next to him. Casual. "You're very pretty," There was a gentleness to the teasing and Max glared at him. The man laughed again, dropping his eyes from Max. "Thanks." Max said after a pause and the man beamed at him. "I should be thanking you. This might be worth the read," he waved the book in his hand. Max rolled his eyes, face softening back into a smile. "I'm Kevin, by the way." "Cool," Max said and wondered if 'Kevin' was a name that fit this attractive man. "And what's your name?" Kevin prompted after a short pause and Max cleared his throat, embarrassed. "Oh, sorry. I'm Ma-," Max barely cut himself off in time. Face flushing darker, mood dropping like a fucking brick. He wasn't Max right now. "I'm Eva." ***This is a rough draft. Easton King has had a hard life. His parents abandoned him as a toddler and he's been from home to home for as long as he can remember. Nobody seems to want him, they just keep him for a little and eventually they all throw him away to be somebody else's problem. Because of this, he has never been close to anyone. He's learned from a young age that he can't trust anybody to stick with him. Don't get me wrong, he still has friends. In fact, Easton is one of the most popular boys in school. No one knows about his home life because he never talks about it and never hangs out with people outside of school. Derek Danvers (his friends jokingly call him DeeDee) has had a better life. He lives with his family and they are loving and decently forgiving like most parents are. He has suffered from depression and anxiety but not nearly as severely as Easton. He lives his life one day at a time and he doesn't depend on his friends but he trusts that they'll stay by his side, and if they don't then it's for the best. They didn't deserve him. Everyone in the school knows Easton puts up walls. No one gets within two or three feet of him, no one asks about his home life, and no one asks if they can go to his house or if he can go to theirs.
