His eyes were locked on mine as he took a step toward me. I subconsciously backed up into the wall and mentally kicked myself for it, I had to stand my ground with this guy or he'd walk all over me! 

Ace placed his hands on either side of my head and leaned in with a mix of amusement and mischief in his smirk. "Surely my little rebel isn't afraid of me," his deep, mesmerizing voice make me melt, "but she sure is cute when she's cowering." 

I gave him a look of hatred, this guy is the biggest narcissist this world has! 

He chuckled low in his voice and leaned in so close to my ear I could hear his breath slowing exhaling on my tender skin. I held my breath and tensed up, I could feel my face heating up quickly. He pauses for a moment and inhales deeply through his nose. "Riley," he swallows hard in restraint, "I want you."

His head dropped to my shoulder and rested there. My stomach did a back flip and panic took over. 
"A-Ace--" He cut me off.

"I won't." He rose his head and our eyes locked again. "I won't do anything that'll hurt you." 

The sincerity in his eyes made me break. I felt as my protective walls come crashing down at his words. After living in a lonely place like SVH I thought i had mastered hiding my feelings, but this guy can see right through me. Tears sprang from nowhere as I desperately tried to wipe my face of them. "I'm sorry... I don't know how to respond to those words." I say as his arms wrap around around me. I hate crying infront of people, but I'd rather it be him than anyone else to see me in such a pathetic way.

He held me until i stopped crying, which seemed like forever. He finally ran his hand through my hair and kissed me, and for the first time, I kissed back...All Rights Reserved

He stood up and walked towards the door, running his hands through his hair. I was surprised, but decided to push further, to see how far I could actually push him. "Why not? You've done it before." I pointed out, my confidence growing now that he didn't hit me for that. He leaned on the door frame, his back to me. "Because I can't do it!" He yelled, turning around to face me. He strode towards me, anger fuming off of him. I cowarded away from him, scared he was going to hit me again.
