I gasp. My forehead is wet with sweat. I am choking on my saliva, I can barely breathe. Harry weakly makes an attempt to grab my limp hand.
A shuddering intake of breath.
I can't believe it. I can't, I can't, I can't. A sob manages to crawl it's way dejectedly out of my weary lungs.
My legs continue to speed away from the horror that just occurred, powering faster with my determination and disbelief, dragging Harry my brother by his arm behind me.
Why us? It's always us! A weak hand lays to rest on my tense shoulder gently attempting to sooth away my discomfort. I smile, a wide sadistic smile, and turn to face her.
"Welcome home sweetie," she says charmingly inspecting the tips of her blonde hair for split ends before opening her arms wide. "We've been looking everywhere for you both, but you two already know that. Do you not?"
