In the not so distant future, the planet has suffered a 100 year famine. Extinction is irreversible. Some travel far and wide in search of food and resources. Others hold on to superstition and folklore. Legend says that light itself will bestow its mark on someone or something it chooses. The one who bears this symbol will bring life back to the land, waters and fields. This light bearer will become a beacon of change to the masses.
