Being young is ecstasy to say the least, but when you're young forever it gets, well... a little old.
"Not being able to tell if I was going to make it through the next few days ahead really was the cherry on top of my senior year."
No one could explain exactly what was happening to the students at Crestwood High and no one really wanted to admit that it was real. But to us (if you take all reason and completely throw it out the window) it was very real, and very horrifying.
We were on the short road to death. Or, maybe the long road to eternal youth? Only the strong would be able to tell the tale.
