Extinction

The Earth is preparing itself for its next mass extinction, the first in billions of years. Every species on the planet, from the smallest bacteria, to parasites, to moose, and even humans, is going to be completely wiped out, leaving Earth empty and desolate, just like it was when it was formed. Diseases will sweep through every continent before the geology starts collasping in on itself and turning into molten lava. The oceans dry up, the atmosphere starts the disintergrate, and the humans are in a major catastrophe. The apocalypse has come and no one is prepared. What do they do now?

Tori Quint was only 6 years old when the Earth started committing suicide. She didn't know what was going on at first; she was too busy worrying over the death of her parents. But when more and more people starting dying- her parents, then her aunt, and even the president of the United States- she starts to wonder what really is happening. The worst reaches the Earth when she is fifteen years old, and the oceans start drying up. With no water left on Earth, the 1,000 person human population is forced to find a way out.
