In that moment I truly let everything go, and wondered how he knew exactly what to do and exactly what to say. I closed my eyes and forgot.
Forgot about the rain drenching my clothes.
Forgot about how cold it was.
Forgot about the world around me.
I just let him hold me, and I let the tears fall. Even if he can't fix my broken heart I know for sure he at least picked up some of the pieces.
