Stupid. That's all that Alpha Keith of Hayrise Pack was. He was a gambler. He decided to jeopardize his land 'for fun', and when he lost, he was due to giving his land. But stubborn Keith didn't want to give up his land, so a war started.

And the Hayrise Pack lost; killing hundreds of their pack members just because Alpha Keith wanted fun.

Leah Mayfields is the seule survivor. She had to turn on her pack in order to survive. So she decides to run away, unable to deal with the grief and guilt that washes over her. She runs off into the everlasting woods-- that pretty much spreads around the country-- hoping to find another pack which gives mercy.

And she finds a pack. But when she gets on their territory, the pack's Beta brings her to the Alpha, knowing that she's a Rogue.

But the Alpha, is her mate.

What will happen when the pack that killed Hayrise, finds out that there's a survivor? And wants her to pay?
