Why Is This So Hard?

A girl named Mary-Beth (Mary or Beth for short) was pushed into the lake by her big brother Jack, Jack thought it was a game. He pushed her in she would just swim back up, that's exactly the opposite. He waited and waited, about 5 minutes after waiting he realized somethings wrong he jumped in the lake trying to find his sister. He succeeded but she was almost dead she had gone blue cold her heart barely pulsing. The doctor was able to save her she was in ICU but the person who waltzed into the wrong room could be the love of her life.
