What would you do if you had a rival and you became attached to them but it wasn't intentional? Sometimes, accepting the fact that you have strong feelings for the wrong person can be pretty complicated. Then you also realize their doors don't swing the same way as you and it could also ruin your friendship with that person. The same thing happened to Rainbow Dash, her feelings for Applejack were stronger than ever. Applejack was already dating somebody else, but she was also conflicted by other emotions and conflicts that came with being in a relationship with someone else.
Throughout the mane 7's junior year, they have made mistakes they regretted eminently and felt guilty about, made hard decisions and had to accept the truth about a lot of things even if it was hard for them.
