Quinn Sherpa has been dealt a bad hand, to say the least. Her life has been nothing but obstacles, between her mentally ill mother who is unable to remember what day it is let alone hold down a job, and her caregiver aunt, who is terrified of hugs or any sort of affection whatsoever. Throughout her life, she has been left to her own devices, and the only true stability she has is herself. Although she has "crazy blood" running through her veins, she has fought her unfortunate gene pool by successfully maintaining some sort of sanity in her life of uncertainty, and has managed to have a steady relationship with her perfect boyfriend, Evan.
But, when Quinn makes a revelation about her and Evan's relationship, the support system she thought she had comes crashing down, and she questions the "sanity" she thought she has had for all of these years. Quinn makes a decision that she believes will be the major change that she needs to get her life back on track, but will it save her from her biggest fear, which is herself? Or will it only put a temporary band aid on the wound that not even her gigantic collection of self help books can heal?
