"No it can't be time, not yet" I grimaced.

"Can't you just stay ? We can help you" Xavier grabbed his shoulders.

"It's not that easy, you can't just stop it. That's just not how it works. I have to leave. It's best for you and the pack." He paused with a flash of hurt in his eyes. "Beta Mia, Delta Xavier, you will become the alpha and beta of the pack. You will take control until I return."

My already aching heart began to throb.

What will happen when a young Malikai must leave his pack to control his inner beast ? He was a young strong willed boy with many problems of his own. He and his best friends were normal teens but as they aged, Alpha Malikai began to loose control. He was different. There was something beastly in his blood that he couldn't control. In order to maintain the pack's safety, he banishes himself until he becomes in control of the monster inside himself.
