Sagishi Sorano's a boy, age 13, birthday November 2nd, 2002, and goes by the name Sorano ( or Sora for short ). He's from Japan and is quite fluent in his native language too. Just a few weeks ago his birthday passed by and nobody seemed to notice except his older brother, who took him out to buy anime merchandise and eat sushi before heading home to watch, well, more anime.
But when he meets up with Annie-May Smith, he feels as if his whole world has just come to an end. A girl, and not just any girl; a surprisingly popular one at that, has taken interest in his crummy anime drawings or shounen/shoujo manga books, or even his gaming consoles.
But after a tragedy strikes his only friend, what will Sorano be able to do?

While trying to find inspiration she stumbles her way into the volleyball club to ask around about their love for the sport. She asks the captain, of course, and the vice captain.
