Seeing MJP2 has inspired me to write a new fanfic, this one set in the world of the Hunger Games trilogy!
As agreed to before the executions, and despite the capitol's pleas against it, the Games that President Coin suggested are underway, and 24 Capitol children will soon be reaped. There is Emelia, a brave and rebellious girl who always dreamed of being in the games herself to be free of the popular girl stereotype her parents built around her; William, a smart but not so athletic guy wishing to help the rebellion's cyber attacks since they began; Elena, a bratty, rich girl with endless opportunities in government before her; Joshua, a young gentlemen with dreams to lead the new government one day; and Kaya, a quiet girl with hopes to prove everyone wrong for looking over her and show the districts that the Capitol people do not deserve the revenge they want. When they are reaped, each has a unique plan in store to try and survive.
Told mainly from Kaya's point of view, this heartwrenching, fast-paced fic will pull you back into the world of the Hunger Games for one last tribute's journey to survival.

This Tree Bleeds Red /|\ Hunger Games
This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. Thus, the world, most of the characters in this fic, most of the plot, and dialogue, belongs to and is owned by Suzanne Collins. All rights are to the creators of the hunger games series. This work will span through the first book in The Hunger Games Trilogy, and I hope to create others in the future that insert Willow into the other two books as well. Disclaimer: There will likely be some stuff in this fic that are cliche within Hunger Games fics. Also note: there's a last name naming convention for abandoned and orphaned children that is used throughout the districts. Willow's last name is Fairchild because of this. Fairchild is the most common surname for orphans, and is known throughout the districts to be for an orphaned or abandoned person. ALSO IMPORTANT: In this fanfic, Peeta and Katniss are aged up to 18, everybody else's ages are staying the same, don't come for me pls.
