I heard my mom screech, as I hear pots and pans fall on the wooden kitchen floor.

"Mom... You know how many times I've told you to not get on the step stool?!" I tell while I help her up.
"when did you become my mother?" She asked
"Since the doctors told me any more falls and you could be paralyzed"

Hunting the Fairy Tale - Re-Writing de MaggieOHighley

When Willow Mayfair's life falls apart, her mother brings her to Briar Cove, the coastal town where she grew up. Living with Rebecca's childhood friend, a new world filled with love, excitement, and friendship opens up for both of them. This story is for everybody who also dreams of a fairy tale and won't care if the "knights" were a little dirty. "Grab a bunch of broken misfits, chuck them in a tribe, add some glitter and loads of weird-ass garbage, voila, you've got yourself a fairy tale... kinda... just... you know... minus the fairies..." Paisley Davenport This story is my happy place; I do not plan on ever finishing it. It will go on and on like a soapie. I might break it up into volumes later. This book is ideal for forgetting the world and becoming best friends with the characters. Please Note:- I'm currently rewriting this story to edit and enhance parts. I'm also breaking up long chapters. Though the reading flow will not be broken, the chapter numbers will become out of sync at the border between old and new. ♫ Genre: Slice of Life/Romance/Humour This is a slow-burn journey through love and life, filled with an array of beloved characters, their sad moments, happy moments and a multitude of bat-sh#t crazy moments. P.S.: This is not a fairy tale... ♫ This is a work of fiction. Any names or characters, businesses or places, events or incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. TW: Please be advised that this story contains references to violence (sexual and other), drugs, anxiety, mental health issues, abuse and other possibly upsetting themes. Reader discretion is advised. I reserve all rights to my stories. Please do not copy or use my work anywhere without my permission. Thank you.

How it Happened

So, I'm kinda clumsy. I tripped when I walked across the stage to receive my high school diploma, knocked down a ladder that was supporting my dad, and sneezed into a wall. Yup, you read that right. I sneezed myself into a wall. So maybe I am a walking train-wreck trapped in a lanky twenty-two-year-old girl's body. At least my family loves me-tolerates me might be a better way of phrasing it-but even with my clumsiness I'm still able to get by with minimal craziness and just a whole lot of embarrassment. A whole lot. That is until the fateful September day I find myself chasing a chicken into a wedding cake. My sister's wedding cake. . . on her wedding day. . . in the middle of the reception. . . in front of two hundred other guests. I've got a new number one on my list of embarrassing moments, but this time I swear it wasn't my fault. I blame that chicken, my grandma, and the stupid bowtie she put on it, probably hoping to marry me off, so she can have the best man all to herself. Okay, fine, so maybe it was totally my fault, but. . . This is how it happened ©2018 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting
