On one sunny morning, kina, a black wolf woke up to the sounds of the bird's song outside of the makeshift den she had made then night before. She got up and stretched and padded out of her den, for she was unnatural, she had been given a power at birth in the pack of Black Nights. They had set her in the wild for her to die. She didn't have a great chance of surviving because she was just a pup. She looked outside to see two gleaming eyes stare at her. She growled in the direction of the yellow eyes. "Who are you?!" she growled. The wolf stepped out, it was a full-grown male "oh, why hello" he said with a grin. He stepped towards her with long, sharp claws. She stepped back, almost a flinch. He had barked and other wolves came out. It was an attack. She had never been in a battle before. She didn't want to use her powers against the wolves, she didn't like killing either. Kina sighed and her brown eyes glowed blue as her did a low growl and then it turned to a bark. The other wolves had flown back but the male stood his ground "good, good" He said while walking towards her "looks like we found another one!" He growled. She turned around and ran. There was a flying shadow above her. "It's just a bird" she muttered to herself. She kept on running until she met a dead end.
