Seven Days. That's how long Clara Elizabeth Sinclair, along with the rest of the world, has left to live. The apocalypse is not caused by a zombie outbreak, or a third world war, but by something no one expected - meteors. The same phenomenon that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs leads to the extinction of mankind. For the Sinclairs, a wealthy family with strong political influence, the end of the world is an extreme annoyance. After all, what does being rich & powerful matter when the entire world is in chaos? Clara, who had a strained relationship with her family before the asteroids were discovered, becomes even more upset with them because of their increasing lack of compassion or empathy for anyone other than themselves. Just when she is convinced that she will die with no one to console her, she meets two people who will change her life - or at least, what's left of it. Sure, this may be just another one of those stories whose main plot involves a love triangle..but this isn't your traditional love triangle. And no one gets a happily ever after.

The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. And the dead do not cry. 6 years have passed since nuclear war broke out, destroying the planet and killing most of the world's population. Different geographical regions have been affected differently, the climate mutating and transforming people into horrific monsters of all kinds. Now humanity must fight to survive amongst literal zombies, vampires, and horrific fungal spores capable of reducing even the strongest to nothing. Emily lives with a small, ragtag group of survivors, her friends before the outbreak occurred. When one of them falls ill, in dire need of medicine, the group is forced to travel to the hospital across town, where they discover something, or rather someone unexpected. Mark was a normal person before the outbreak, before he was bitten by his own father, before everything went to hell in a handbasket. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise. A chance encounter leaves him wondering if maybe there's more to life after death. BOOK ONE IN THE 'AFTER LIFE ENDED' SERIES
