Why me?

This book is about a little girl named Piper. She gets kidnapped at 10 years old and doesn't return home untill she is 17. She misses home really badly. Although through out the years she slowly forgets her family. She of course tries to escape, but tries to make the kidnapper look like she isn't trying to. The kidnapper always wears a mask over his face, so that she doesn't escape knowing what the killer looks like. (She obviously tries but fails). He doesn't know that she is trying to escape. The kidnapper celebrates holidays and her birthday, which she thinks its kind of creepy, but she will find away to get out.
