Its been three years after the war with Dagur the Deranged and the Berserker tribe. 18 year old Hiccup Haddock has been struggling with a lot. All of his friends have got their own things going on. Snotlout working at the armory, Fishlegs teaching at the academy, the twins dedicating their lives to Loki and Astrid joining the Berk Guard.
Even though he's happy for his friends, he can't help but feel like he's looking for something more. Like the world outside the archipelago is calling to him.
So... He does the craziest thing ever. He runs away from everything he knows and loves. His friends, Gobber, his father, the tribe...... and Astrid. Leaving nothing but a note and sadness, he sets out, beyond the boundaries of the archipelago.
And on his journey, he encounters an old friend, who actually understands him more than his friends from Berk.
