Sleeping with a Tortured Artist│18+ ⚠️ by drowningwithnoair
7 parts Ongoing Mature
⚠️♨️ GRAPHIC SEXUAL CONTENT. Smut w/ a plot. PERUSE AT WILL . ♨️⚠️ She walked into the pub...and right into his heart. Samantha Sanders doesn't take shit from anyone, especially men. She's a voracious and self-determined girl with a past that's kept her from sleeping with the same person twice. She's anti-commitment, anti-domesticity, anti-submission (unless it's between the sheets), and anti-anyone trying to tame her wild spirit. Daniel Sadler is also all of those things...minus the "anti" & add the "pro". So when Samantha shows up at that particular pub that fateful night on his 24th birthday, Dan can't help the draw he feels towards her. She inspires lovesick poetry in him & he inspires her to grow as a person. While Dan convinces her to stay in his life, Samantha convinces him to go pro with the music. They struggle as they get to know each other and when sex is added to the mix, well...no one said it would be easy. His hopeless romanticisms scare her and her carefree, take-it-or-leave it attitude scares him, but as the friendship blossoms & the sex (often) takes reign, there's only a clash of heads. This story is a prequel to "Dating a Tortured Artist" (fka "Haunt"), however "Sleeping" can be independently read WITHOUT "Dating", and vice versa. This story only came together because I've immersed myself so deep into these characters that I felt I absolutely needed to explore their 3 year history before the events in "Dating". (And for anyone wondering: while the smut in "Dating" is plenty & well-written, the one in "Sleeping" is far better...imo. 🥵) Happy reading! 😉 WARNING: This story contains extremely mature sexual themes and strong language that may not be suitable for some readers. I'll try to add an "18+" to chapters that are a little too "smut-like", but I can't keep you from reading this type of content if you're already determined to.
THE SOUL'S EXCHANGE by AnjaniManda8
86 parts Ongoing
In the realm of fire and blood, where dragons dance and ambition burns bright, two souls entwine in a fate forged by destiny's hand. Sitara Evangeline Potters-Black, mistress of death, lies on the precipice of childbirth, her essence flickering like a candle in the dark. In another life, Alicent Hightower, duty-bound and unfulfilled, faces her own peril in the throes of labor. As the veil between worlds thins, the gods intervene, trading their souls amidst the agony of creation-a rebirth wrapped in shadow. Awakening as Alicent Hightower, Sitara finds herself entangled in a web of power and rivalry, her heart heavy with the echoes of her past. Married to King Viserys Targaryen, she soon realizes that his love has waned, replaced by a growing affection for his daughter Rhaenyra. As their bond flourishes, Alicent's spirit wilts, suffocated by the weight of duty and a marriage steeped in disinterest. Yet, in the depths of her despair, a flicker of magic ignites within her-a dangerous gift that allows her to whisper the ancient tongues of dragons. Amidst the court's treachery and whispered betrayals, Alicent's path intertwines with that of Daemon Targaryen, the king's fierce brother. Initially adversaries in a deadly game of ambition, their hearts are drawn together, igniting a slow-burning flame that defies the boundaries of loyalty and duty. In the shadows of the Red Keep, passion blooms like a rose among thorns, a forbidden romance fraught with peril. In a world where every choice could lead to ruin, the stakes have never been higher. With the specter of death lurking, and alliances shifting like sand, can Alicent rise as a beacon of hope, or will she succumb to the darkness that seeks to claim her? The Dance of the Dragons beckons, and with it, the chance for redemption-or destruction. Rankings #1 in alicenthightower #1 in Houseofthedragon #1 in daemontargaryen
