Kestrel is a nemarian. She is half dragon and alpha to a group of other shifters. She goes to school and other event because her parents are humans. Secretly she believes she is adopted but doesn't care. Her friends support her as alpha and life is pleasant despite her parents violence towards her and each other. Her strength is amazing but she keeps a sad secret. She is also crippled. Her biggest asset and downfall is her loyalty to her friends. This loyalty may be her demise.
