Hayley Bennett, is a young fourteen year old girl; who dreams of seeing her once foster sister-Alice. After four years of Alice's disappearance, Hayley decides to find out where she went. Did she die? Did she run and hide? For what reason?

With the help of a stranger, she goes on a journey to find her lost friend. Will anything go back to normal if the Alison Osborn returns. Why isn't she coming home? Is there something holding her back? Finding clues everywhere Hayley turns, she meets ghosts of Alice's past. Her adopted family, her friends. . . . . . and maybe her love interest.
