Why is suicide frown upon? Well it's simple, we're selfish. We don't want to feel the pain of losing someone and the indisputable effects that soon follow.
"Like you told me I can't and I wont standby, when I know there's someone next door who wants to kill themselves." He said through the door. I could hear the disappointment, the sadness and even the tears in his voice.
"Please, just open the door." he pleaded. I so desperately wanted to open the door and tell him, I was going to be okay; that everything was going to be okay. Yet I couldn't, I was paralyzed on the floor with the empty bottle of pills in my hand. I didn't know what to do, what I should do. I did however know that with just this one bottle I had ended it all.
"I'm sorry, I really am Blake." was all I could say.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care.
