Why is suicide frown upon? Well it's simple, we're selfish. We don't want to feel the pain of losing someone and the indisputable effects that soon follow.
"Like you told me I can't and I wont standby, when I know there's someone next door who wants to kill themselves." He said through the door. I could hear the disappointment, the sadness and even the tears in his voice.
"Please, just open the door." he pleaded. I so desperately wanted to open the door and tell him, I was going to be okay; that everything was going to be okay. Yet I couldn't, I was paralyzed on the floor with the empty bottle of pills in my hand. I didn't know what to do, what I should do. I did however know that with just this one bottle I had ended it all.
"I'm sorry, I really am Blake." was all I could say.
