"Tell me, Gwen," Peter says, looking at me with his impossible green eyes. "Are you afraid of the dark?"
"No." I say, and I'm lying. But he pretends that I'm not, and I pretend not to notice, and the portal zips shut behind us. No going back now.
"Welcome," the hollow children say, as I follow Peter through the crowd. "Welcome to Neverland, Gwendolyn. Welcome to the World of Unhappy Endings."

~~~
When Gwendolyn McKinnith gets lost in the stacks of the Library of Congress, she never expects to find an ancient book stuffed into a random, hidden corner. It's called the Book of Unhappy Endings, and it seems to call to her, begging her to take it home.
But when Gwen opens the Book, bad things start to happen in her life, and all the light begins to bleed from her world. Creatures of Nightmare start to tear at the very fabric of time and nothing anyone tries is able to stop them.
Then, a young man shows up in Gwen's bedroom; he is tall and beautiful and elfin, and there are shadows in his brilliant green eyes. He tells her that he is Peter Pan, and he needs her to come with him to Neverland or her world will descend into anarchy.
Gwen wants to save the world, but to do that, she'll have to enter the Book with Peter and never come out again. She'll have to give up everything; her family, her friends, her life.
Even her chance at Happily Ever After.
Book Two in the Neverland Archives (they do NOT have to be read in order! This is purely for the history and timeline of Neverland).
Ever since Baz was a child, he heard stories of the miraculous Simon Snow and his incredible adventures in Neverland. For Baz, stories of Simon are more than just stories--they are true. The tales become his way to escape his harsh reality and his old-fashioned family. So, when his sister is old enough to understand, he tells her about Simon Snow and his battles with The Insidious Humdrum and how he and his fairy help-mate, Penelope, save Neverland on a daily basis. What Baz doesn't know is that there's always someone lurking outside his window when he tells these stories. Ever since Simon was born, he knew that the real world wasn't the place for him. His mother died during childbirth and his father, in turn, became an abusive drunk. So, when Simon was seventeen, he escaped to Neverland where he would never have to grow up and be like his father. Now that he's been there for so long (he lost track of the years overtime) he starts to wander back into the real world to see how things have changed. One night he hears, through an open window, a silky voice telling stories of Simon Snow the Great Adventurer. The boy that didn't want to grow up. So Simon hovers outside the window night after night, just to hear what the boy has to say. One night, Simon finds himself going in through the window to try and find his shadow and meets the mysterious story-teller. Who, as he finds out, is not just mysterious--he is incredibly attractive.
A "Beauty and the Beast" retelling. Once upon a time, there was a boy in love with a Lilly. Not a flower, but a girl. It all started one beautiful autumn day. One autumn day that would change the boy's life forever. For on this day, he met Lilly, a beautiful girl with an ugly secret. A secret that threatens to destroy her if she cannot find a way to break the curse forced upon her. Filled with secrets, lies, and love, this short story captures the essence of the original fairy tale with an entirely new twist. ~~~ "Hello, my name is Lilly. What's yours? Is that your mother? I only just came to live here with Ivy, and I don't know many people that come to visit her yet. Do you come often? If you do, we could be friends! Would you like that? To be friends? Why, don't you speak at all? And you should really close your mouth; it is impolite to stare like that." Ivy called out to her from the doorway of the cottage. "Lilly, if you want him to speak, you must first cease speaking." Both of the women were laughing at the children, and Lilly blushed at the comment. "Sorry! I just haven't seen anyone my age yet, and I got excited, which happens rather easily. It reminds me a bit of puppies I've read about that just get so excited that they- oops. I'm doing it again. Sorry," she said with a shy smile. Adam, who had been standing there staring, just as she had pointed out, finally found his voice long enough to tell her his name. She beamed at him, saying that they would be great friends. She seized his hand and began tugging him toward the woods behind the cottage, shouting to Ivy and his mother, "We won't go far! Be back soon!" ~~~
This story is a sequel to Everything Black. Highly unrecommended to read it as a stand alone book. But if you want to, you can. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "It Was Never The End" It's been 11 years since the incident with the kids at FallVale, 11 years since their encounter with Pitch, and for the kids well... They're no longer kids. As time went by they all started having their own life yet remained in touch. Most of them became successful However, one of them got left behind.... Rapunzel.. Right after they all got into college and she was still in highschool, they started drifting far away leaving her all alone...even Jack... After a few years though they had to group up again, why? Because the evil is back, it never died and started hunting them and threatening them in their dreams or maybe that's what they believe. So they decided to reunite again and shut down that evil for good this time. But Rapunzel is a different case, she's so mad at them for leaving her behind. She refuses to forgive them. She despises them all for abandoning her when she needed them the most. She refuses to accept them into her life again especially Jack.... who happens to be still crazy about her. Will things ever be the same as they were? Will Rapunzel ever forgive them? Will Jack ever redeem what he did to her? Can they defeat that monster again? Find out in the sequel "Ever Black" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I do not own any of the characters, they're all owned by Disney and Dreamworks!
