Hello! This is my first fanfiction in a long while, but recently I've gotten back into writing so I figured I would give it another chance. My plans are to hopefully update this once or twice a week (more frequently in the beginning to get it rolling) and make this into something good. This is a bit before they meet up with Rick and the others, and when it gets there it will follow "The Walking Dead" storyline for the most part, with slight modifications. :) Thank you for reading!

A/N: This is the updated version of FYD <3 Y/n L/n was your average college student before the world went to shit. She lived in Atlanta with her childhood friend, Glenn, and had never once left the city after she had moved there, apart from the occasional visit to see her Mother, whom was hospitalised in another state. She never was a people person and never got along too well with others, but she couldn't just abandon the girl. Would she find a home in this group? Would they become family? Daryl Dixon x OFC Tragedy after tragedy leaves Violet Graves to fend for herself in a world where the dead roam free. Violet is no stranger to living in hell but the apocalypse is another beast entirely. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
