He was something dark, but when it came to my worst days he was always there to take me away. Like the light to my awakening or the hero in my nightmare. I don't understand it or feel as if I want too, but there's something about him that makes me not want to stop searching. So a key wrapped around my neck and a lock with no owner, I keep grasp as he keeps grasping me. Pulling me away from the past Im trying to escape from.

I can feel him, always lurking in the shadows, his presence creeping behind me like a silent predator. Every day, every night, I catch glimpses of that black Dodge, its dark, gleaming shape haunting the corners of my vision. It's as if he's always there, waiting, watching. The sight of that car freezes me with a chill of fear, but a twisted curiosity gnaws at me, pulling me closer to the unknown. Who is he? What does he want? Pain. Everywhere. I could hardly breathe. But still, I forced myself to stay awake. I couldn't risk falling asleep. I looked at the small cage he had put me in, and sighed to myself. I felt my eyes lose their yellow colour, and go back to my usual colour, hazel. It wasn't easy, being taken away from your family at a young age, and being changed. Into a monster. I didn't know exactly what I was, but I even scared myself when he took me to the woods to hunt, like he just had. I wish he would just let me die. But he wouldn't. Every day, he told me that I was his most precious valuable, and he couldn't let me go. But that doesn't stop my small fantasy of him letting me die. Nothing ever would.
