Two youth. One is cursed. A disguised elf living among humans. The other is the last Dragonsouled, an elf with the soul of a dragon in him. Both end up losing their parents. Destiny forces them together in an epic tale like no other. Once together, never to be separated. They have one goal: defeat Shayde Deathgleaner They come to a choice. Arran, the cursed one, wants to get the help of the legendary Fire Angels, who are locked up in Ingvo'Monirn, or the fire mountain. Roknier, the Dragonsouled, wants to go straight after Shayde. Either way will have consequences. Whichever path they choose, they must follow it through, lest the land be overtaken. If the land is overrun by Shayde, the balance of good and evil will be disrupted, and darkness will cover the face of the land.

The fire elves are a very old species, dating back to the time of The Great War, centuries ago. Elves are distant descendants of the Goddess of Elements, The First Elf. She had four aspects, corresponding to each of the four elements. She gave her elemental powers to her kin, elves and humans and many other monsters. They were Demi-immortal, only to be killed by deliberate intent. They have familiars, linked to their very souls, which they bond with using an ancient ceremony. Elementals, the children of elves after centuries of descent. Humans are the most common species, and are generally magicless. Humans with magic are called mages . Elves are very rare, as all elves went into hiding after the Great War between the gods centuries ago. Occasionally and elf would leave home and into the world, but no fire elf has ever left their home and had children living on the mainland so there are no fire elementals. Fire elves have a bond with the dragons who's volcanoes and islands they shared, a bond that would last generations. In the current day, there is one tribe remaining: the Ryoko Tribe. The name meant "woman who is like the dragon," a fitting name for a tribe led by a head woman. This woman was lady Hyria Tatsu, the eldest of the tribe. Her apprentice goes by the name of Mina Ryoto. Star and Moon, two dragonets, would only bond with Mina. None of the other children were able to bond with the two dragonets. This was one of the reasons Hyria had chosen Mina. Only those of great legends could bond with two beasts. It would be a hard road for her, but being this special could turn out for the best. The world might depend on her one day.

The kingdom of Solarest is on the brink of collapse. Its rival, the dark empire of Umbra, is relentless in its pursuit of domination, and whispers of an ancient prophecy ignite hope and fear alike. At the center of this prophecy lies the Phoenix Talisman, a sacred artifact said to hold the power to unite or destroy kingdoms. Aarav, a skilled warrior of Solarest, is tasked with an impossible mission: to venture into the Forbidden Vale and retrieve the talisman. The vale, an ancient land shrouded in enchantments and danger, is a place from which few have returned. Aarav carries more than just his sword-he carries a shadowy past he is desperate to escape. On his journey, he encounters Zara, a fiercely independent archer who reveals herself to be the exiled princess of Umbra. Driven by a quest for justice and the desire to reclaim her stolen throne, Zara is also seeking the talisman. Despite their mistrust, they form an uneasy alliance, realizing that only together can they survive the perils of their journey. As they traverse treacherous landscapes, face mythical creatures, and uncover the secrets of the Phoenix Talisman, Aarav and Zara begin to break down the walls between them. Their shared struggles turn into a bond neither expected, and amidst the chaos of their mission, a fragile yet undeniable love begins to bloom. But their path is fraught with danger. Kael, a cunning sorcerer loyal to Umbra, is also on the hunt for the talisman, acting under the orders of the empire's tyrant ruler. Kael's allegiance is tested as he witnesses Aarav and Zara's determination, and the lines between enemy and ally blur. As the prophecy begins to unfold, Aarav and Zara uncover a devastating truth: the talisman's power comes at a price, one that could demand the ultimate sacrifice. With Solarest and Umbra on the verge of war, the fate of their kingdoms-and their love-rests in their hands.

The path fate lays before us is often many years in the making, and the tale of the Phoenix and the God-spawn is no different. Nearly 3,000 years before the war that would bring about Astaroth's defeat, another battle was waged to ensure there would be a future to fight for. Duty has been thrust upon Prince Azael Cadhael for centuries, first by filling the role of an uncrowned King, but his true story begins as all royal stories do: with a ball, a secret, and a peculiar dream. When Azael overhears the whispered plans of his betrothed and her twin brother to leave with the Phoenix on a goddess-given quest, he must surrender to a new type of duty entirely. Navigating his ever increasingly strained relationship with Tissaia Lochren while striving to save the future of his kingdom isn't a job easily done, and her closeness with the Phoenix, Kaius, certainly doesn't make it any easier. Tissaia has spent years in the shadows of her own failure and her father's wrath. Kaius's quest offers her and her brother Talarion a chance to claim their freedom at long last, but fighting ones' past can be just as deadly as fighting an armed foe, especially if that past isn't keen on backing down. If they're going to succeed, all four of them must learn to recognize the power in truth and bared secrets, as well as the strength in kinship. If they fail, it could mean the doom of all Asterria for an age. But if they succeed, perhaps fate will be kinder than they have been led to believe. Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real and mature elements. There will be chapters dealing with abuse, gore, PTSD, torture, sexual content, and other topics.
