Saved by Grace takes place in 16th century Ireland, during the Protestant Reformation. The country is torn in half,and no one knows this better than Maite McGiveans. With his mother dying in childbirth, Maite is left with his father. Both are so poor that they are forced to live on the streets of Ireland. Maite only finds solace in his faith, but even that is shaken. Only with the help of a little girl named Grace is Maite able to see just how strong he can be in his faith.
