The dependable, intelligent, driven and perhaps a little too lonely wanderer of 'The World That Was'. But just about anyone else would be too if they were in his position. Being on his own since the rise of the dead, floating around from place to place, never staying in any one spot for too long. This is what he thought mattered with the zombie apocalypse; fending for himself and trusting no one.
Carl Grimes.
Ever since the loss of his mother, he was never the same. The emotional roller coaster that lost his sense of innocence. With the world as it is, it's either grow up fast or die young. He could never care for anyone without the risk of them dying. There wasn't a real reason, and he was quickly losing hope. That is, until he spotted the 'lone wanderer' by chance just beyond the prison fence.
What happens then these two meet by chance? When deep down, they both believe everything happens for a reason. Will either of them be ready for what is to come?
