Death is inevitable. It's a fact of human life. But majority of people don't take the time to think about one's mortality. But that was all that Audrey and Kara had on their minds with Audrey's up coming surgery. Audrey had a severe case of scoliosis that was getting worse every day and she and her family had tried every treatment they could to attempt to return her spine back to relatively normal, including being in a back brace for a year. If left untreated her spine could curve to the point that her ribs twist and pierce her heart. While the upcoming surgery would end Audrey's scoliosis related problems permanently, the girls still worried. With only a 0.007% chance of fatality during the surgery, she would be fine. But what if she wasn't? What if she was the 0.007%?

Kate's College Struggles
Kate is a small, shy girl who's starting college after barely graduating high school. She didn't want to go to college initially because she didn't feel like she could handle it, both academically and mentally. However, when her one and only friend Megan decided to go with her, Kate agreed. The small girl has anxiety issues due to being bullied for her childish appearance and behavior. Kate was born with permanent incontinence, making her have to wear diapers her whole life, something she was bullied for in school. It also didn't help things that she had a growth hormone deficiency, causing her to stop growing at only 4'5 tall. The bullying was only exaggerated further due to her childish mannerisms, always carrying around a stuffed animal and drinking out of sippy cups. The onset of her first college semester caused her anxiety to skyrocket to new levels, which in turn, caused her to become even more childish.
