For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. The Mate (sorry the first three chapters got deleted)
Amy has has the best life, she has good friends, a good parent, and the best boys chasing after her, but when a new guy, zack, comes and moves right across the street her whole life changes. if you want the first three chapters I will summarize them. chapter 1 Amy is getting ready for her date with a boy from the school that she has been wanting to ask in a long time. but he doesn't come and just disappears from the state. when she is waiting she see a moving van pull up and goes to see who's going to be her new neighbors. chapter 2 when Amy gets over to their yard she introduces herself and says that her mom is at work but will come over and meet them when she gets off work. when she gets home she tells her brother Sam about the girl that lives across the street, and he doesn't want to at first but then Amy tells him that she is his age and he jumps up and runs out of the house. then she goes upstairs to her room and calls her friends Lola and Lizzy to come over and they talk about Zack until Amy's mom comes home and she makes a welcoming dinner for them and they take it over to them that day. that's same day Amy starts getting to know Zack better. chapter 3 Zack wakes Amy up and starts talking to her about their date. it may seem like they are going on a date the day after they just met but Zack it persistent and wants to get to know her better, and he wants to get to know her fast. after Zack is done talking to her she tries to go back to sleep but she can't so she takes a shower. after her shower she gets out and finally looks in the mirror and sees her marks that are like fire but the color is black.Complete
