"I've escaped death itself. If I can do that, I can survive anything."

Return back to a Tony Stark love story. If you liked Rise, then you'll love this one just as much! This ones badder, better and insidious.

My name? People call me different things. It varies. They call me wild, mordacious and even suicidal. You can call me Gail. Just Gail, nothing more and nothing less. Since the day I was born, I was already dead. Left as baby to starve on the streets with no love from any parents. Maybe that's why I'm so stony. However the day a man named Nick Fury found me was the day I wouldn't be considered a child. Training to be an assassin at the age of three and learnt how to fight at the age of five. SHIELD is my home. How I became an Avenger is past my knowledge. How I met Tony Starkis unbelievable. Loving Tony Stark is just plain fable.

"So, you save the world?" I looked up and down the spandex clad boy in front of me. Even under the mask I could see his worry. "Well, I do what I can.." He sheepishly put a hand behind his head. "What else would I do with superpowers?" "Rob a bank, kill the president, take over the universe. There are LOTS of options." He laughed slightly, stuffing the last of my things gently into the bag and handing it to me. "Touche. But I mean, good things. Like good people do cause I'm a food person, GOOD person, I ment good. Not food, though it's not a bad thing to like food, not in the slightest. Infact, I could definatly go for some Chinese food about now, and a foot to stick in my own mouth.." I snorted, taking the bag out of his hands. "And I'm supposed to know that your good.. but I guess with a name like the spider boy you have to have something going for you." He turned, walking up the alley wall and squatted down, his bug eyes slightly offended. "Ouch. Its Spider Man." now it was my turn to laugh. "You dont look like much of a man to me, but fine. The Spider-Man, happy?" I couldn't tell, but I could swear he was smiling under that web shrouded mask. He lifted a hand, shooting a sting of webbing from his wrist and pulling himself seamlessly up to the buildings top. I looked up, head craned to see him as he looked down at me. He cupped his hands around his mouth for just a moment before he called, "Very!" And ran off into the night sky above me. ******* After Homcoming before Infinity War, ps peter never liked MJ Contains Explicit content, sexual abuse, strong language, and death I own no characters of the Marvel Cinimatic Universe nor any rights to their content. The Weight of Grief by Kale_Kabbage
12 parts Complete Mature
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief. **NO Starker** Triggers Warnings: Substance Use/Abuse Depressive and/or Suicidal Thoughts/Mentions Rape Threats/Mentions Descriptive Blood/Minimal Gore Some Self-Harm Coarse Language Mental Illness (various) This is a heavier story, so please don't read if you're not comfortable with any of the above triggers. "I'm guessing you're here to try and recruit me? Again?" I ask him patiently. I believe this is the fifth-time Nick Fury has come calling. Each and every time I have turned him down, but eventually he comes back and proposes the same thing. "No, I'm here to see if you'd like some girl scout cookies. The Samoa's are selling really well this year." Nick sasses while giving me his signature glare. I smirk. He's a sarcastic jerk, but he is funny. "Oh, well in that case..." I start and trail off, knowing it'll make him even more frustrated. He huffs and my smirk grows. "Why do you want me so bad?" I ask, honestly wanting to know. I watch Nick as he sighs deeply and clasps his hands in front of him. "Your skill set is equal to the best that we have. You would be an invaluable part of the team." He explains, but he knows that isn't what I mean. We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs again. "Your history only makes you more of an impressive subject." He continues and I groan. "The point is that you would help put an end to what happened to you, on a global scale." He says. "Think about it, Shifter." Nick drops a folder on the concrete and starts to walk back to the exit of the roof. I flip through the folder lazily, barely skimming the papers, but I know all of the names already. Once I've gone through most of it I stop and toss it in the dust behind me. Reading it was useless. I wasn't made to be any sort of hero. I DO NOT OWN THE AVENGERS. ONLY THE CHARACTERS AND THE SITUATIONS I CREATE.

"I didn't even know you were my uncle, and now that I'm stuck living with you, the first thing you want me to do is spy on my best friend?!" I yelled, annoyed. "I mean, yeah. Is that a problem?" Tony asked. "Yeah! You didn't know about my mom! You don't know what I'm going through! The only person that's there for me is Peter, and now you want me to do stuff behind his back!" He sighed. "I know, you're right. But, I really need you to do this." I looked at him. "Hell no. I'm not going to do it just because you need me to." "Just... go to his house. Now. You'll see why." "Fine. But just so you know, I'm not going there for you. I'm going there to see my friend. And I may not be back until tomorrow." I turned to walk out, but I turned back real quick. "Oh, and I'm taking one of your suits. Stipulations, you know?" Alison "Allie" Stark never really had a lot of friends. But, there was one person who has been her bestie since kindergarten: Peter Parker. No matter what, they've been there for each other, especially when Allie's mom has cancer. But, there's one thing that Peter never told her: he is Spider-Man. So, when Allie's mom died and she figures out that she's the niece of Tony Stark, at first she's reluctant to accept his request to spy on Peter. But, after his secret is revealed, the adventures begin. And she couldn't be happier. I mean, who wouldn't be ecstatic to get to spend all the time in the world with their crush since fifth grade? THIS BOOK DOES CONTAIN LANGUAGE!! I WARNED YOU!! Another note: Not every single word is mine and mine alone. I do copy some dialogue directly from the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. I do this to keep the main storyline as close to the original as possible, just with some added characters and side stories. The MCU is one of my favorite things in the world, so I want to give them credit where credit is due.
Twisted Fates | ironstrange (Book 1) by HAMILTON42
19 parts Complete
Tony Stark was never Iron Man. He was never a hero, never anything except 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist'. The only thing he was, was a broken man with a hunk of metal embedded in his chest, broken even further when he ended up the victim of a near-fatal car crash after a fight with Steve Rodgers, the leader of the Avengers. When Tony learns that he only has three months left to live, he breaks completely. He wastes his three months of life, wallowing in depression, until he realizes that he doesn't want to die and learns of a mystical school in the Himalayas: Kamar-Taj. Stephen Strange is a doctor with broken hands, his career ripped from his shaky grasp when he is thrown out of a hospital window and buried under half a building. Distraught, in pain, and desperate, Stephen tries his hardest to recover, turning a blind eye to every fruitless attempt. Until he learns of Kamar-Taj and meets a man named Tony Stark. Both men feel as if they are broken beyond repair, never to be whole again, and never to be loved. What happens, then, when an ordinary man literally running on batteries and a doctor who lost his work, his life, begin to mend each other? Picking up the pieces, binding the shards of metal and glass with the romance slowly blooming between them? Following the events of Doctor Strange, the two men realize there is more to the other than meets the eye, and more to themselves then they realized. But when the war is won, the dust settles, and peace overcomes the word, love is what remains. And it all started from a game of twisted fates. |~|~|~| • posted on Ao3 under Kadi_WatsonHolmes • soon to be posted on Fanfiction.net under Kadi_WatsonHolmes 🔹Started: 2/5/2022 🔸Finished: 2/21/2022 Currently under editing (moral of the story: don't binge write a 22-chapter book in less than three weeks. A Girl Named Death

20 parts Complete

My name is Death. Just Death. At least, that's what the scientists decided to call me. Long ago there was a little girl named Sara. She died. Now it's Death. Just Death. I suppose you want to hear my story. Of course you do. I don't even know where to start. Maybe I'll start at the beginning- twenty years ago, when a little baby girl was born. Or maybe I'll start the day my parents left that baby girl alone in this world. No, I think I'll start the day my life began. The day I escaped...
