It all started in 2012, the year Evan Thomas lost one of his closest friends to a freak car accident. At first he believed that it was just a freak accident and that was the end of it. Until her funeral.

Two days before Laura's funeral Evan had seen someone with the exact same wounds as those found on the body of Laura Jones, a senior from Wesley High. This stranger didn't just have wounds though; when Evan brushed past them on the footpath on the way to school he experienced a feeling of.. Death.

At the funeral he had seen the exact same stranger passing by Laura's coffin to pay respect, then disappearing into thin air. Evan couldn't put his finger on it, but something about the stranger resembled something in Laura, like when you look at two long lost relatives, there's still that one thing about them that you just know they are related.

Every time someone is about to die, Evan sees their dead relative two days before they die. These two relatives die from the exact same cause, in the exact same area. The first relative he see's had died ten years before the second.

Evan makes it his mission to save every single second relative from their upcoming death. Except one.
