The creation of the first shadow. The death of the phoenix. The establishment of Torzoan. This is the legend of the beginning of the great empire of Martsuin and this is the story of the Phoenix Tree.
Martsuin is a land newly discovered and dominated by forests. The trees rise several feet higher than the tallest of castles. Only the snowy peaks of the northwest and humid coasts of the south remain free from the woods. Trees were kings until man came.
Also, the art for the cover comes from the video game Trine 2. I do not own the art and all credit for it goes to the creators.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different. This time, even the humans are in danger. ❤️❤️ Updates: When I can ahh❤️❤️ ⚠️ Mild fear/ violence warning --- This is the third part to this little trilogy :) I would recommend reading the other parts first if you can suffer through them. I can gladly summarise all that has happened so far in a lil note in the beginning if people so desire to skip two stories full of what a younger-me considered good writing :)
The Child of Cataclysm
Martier and his dragon, Skirin, have built a lasting friendship over the years that the Children of Cataclam has hunted them. They have fought together and laughed together, and Martier has sworn an oath to protect Skirin. No matter what. But then one day, Martier meets two soldiers from the Furghon Empire tasked with exterminating the Children. Martier agrees to go with them to their home, where he and Skirin can hopefully find a place where they belong, not knowing that is where their destiny awaits. Old memories are rekindled, and new friendships are forged on this journey of a child finding his way home. ----- This is an original novella. While the concept of a particular part of this story has been inspired by another source, I am the sole owner of all the material presented here. Any similarities in name are coincidental. I should also mention that this is a novella, meaning it is quite short (10 chapters to be precise).
