The creation of the first shadow. The death of the phoenix. The establishment of Torzoan. This is the legend of the beginning of the great empire of Martsuin and this is the story of the Phoenix Tree.

Martsuin is a land newly discovered and dominated by forests. The trees rise several feet higher than the tallest of castles. Only the snowy peaks of the northwest and humid coasts of the south remain free from the woods. Trees were kings until man came.

Also, the art for the cover comes from the video game Trine 2. I do not own the art and all credit for it goes to the creators.
