Like ordinary full moons, the eclipse causes werewolves to lose all control. Drastically different, however, it is a much more powerful pull and mimics the state of their shifted form. Seeing as no werewolf can shift permanently, they need a human anchor to retain contact with during the eclipse. Derek Hale's instincts have chosen for him, but what if his new anchor refuses to open the door?
