Chapter 1 Meet the pack!
(Ivy's POV)
I wake up to strange sounds coming outside of the den. "What the fur?" I said quietly not wanting to wake up my mother or father. I get up trying not to wake up mother that's when I notice my brother is gone. I finally get up without waking mother I squeeze my way through the opening of the den only to find my brother sneaking around. "Shadow? What are you doing up?" I squeaked "Father would kill you if he find you out here!" I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear. "Just go back in the den Ivy." He sighed "I'm just getting some air. Okay?" I looked at him uncertain if he was telling the truth "Okay..." I squeezed back in keeping an eye on Shadow. He sat down and looked at the ground and sighed. I soon drifted off to sleep dreaming of the day I become an apprentice.

I sense him before I see him but carry on with folding the washing. "I see you found me." I say loud enough for him to hear. I feel him walking towards me. I can tell who its just by looking at their uniform. We all get given a unique uniform that is made for us. I carry on folding the washing whilst waiting for his reply. "We need you to come in." The moment she noticed her handler forgot to lock the door behind him, she wasted no time making a run for it. There's only one problem though. She had no clue where she was. As he extended his hands for the cloak, the messenger unveiled his hoodie and underneath was his Uncle Waller with tears and red nose. Allen ran and hugged him. Not letting him go, thinking he too would suddenly disappear. "Allen... Please take this inside." Said Waller, "I will come back when we have done the ceremony for his burial." Waller kneeled down with his arms extended, offering Allen his fathers cloak. "But... Uncle Waller. What-" I started crying, but kept a brave face. "I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..." Said the whisper, "I will help you grow strong, and get Revenge..." Said the voice with sadness, "You are a very special Kid".Complete
The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." Father responds, looking for a battle plan to reign in his own son. "Are you willing to stand up to your mate?" I ask and he shudders before nodding. I've got some work to do.
