Maya was heading home one night when she bumps into a girl. That girl being Ryan James. Armed with an oversized leather jacket and a camera, Ryan decides to walk Maya home to make sure she is safe. Ryan shows up in Cory's class on the first day of 7th grade, and Maya is happy to see the older girl she met that summer. What happens when Cory notices some striking similarities between Ryan and his long-time friend? What happens when Ryan's world expands more than she could possibly imagine?
