Freedom. It means different things for different people; for a gay american it means having the right to express their love freely; for an abused partner it means finally getting away from the abuser. Freedom means many things. Freedom can make you and break you. To be free, we have to work for it. To be alive, we have to work even harder.

This is a boyxboy novel; inside these chapters there are instances where there is abuse, sex, and male love. I am deeply sorry if I upset you in any way, but this is Benjii and Erik's story- the story of their final freedom; of the love, hate, and sadness portrayed through the first few months of their lives together. Please continue into their journey. They shared their story, and they wish to share it again with you all. They want everyone to know that it's okay to be alone.

Thank you for reading.
xoxo, Ash.
