One letter was all it took to send Aiken into a battlefield of tears and destruction. The once confident, bubbly and occasionally snarky girl was now quiet, fragile, and uninvolved with friendships, or people for that matter. The face full of smiles she used to frequently show everyone was now a constant, unbelieving blank stare at the world and souls around her.
She never thought she could or would ever meet someone who could put the light back into her spirit; someone who could make her feel wanted and beautiful again. But all it took was one boy, with a wild attitude and just enough spark of his own to relight the fire that once burned so brightly in Aiken's heart.
He wanted to prove to her that not everyone will leave her, not everyone will hurt her. He wanted her to realize that he was going to love her through everything, because in her life he would be there permanently.
