Madison Rudd is the sweet, shy girl better known as friend to the two most popular girls in school. She has spent most of her high school career drowning in her two best friends shadows. With senior year fast approaching she decides that enough is enough and a summer filled with things she never thought she would do is the only solution. However, Maddie greatly underestimated just how far her two best friends were willing to go to break her out of her shell. The first night of summer is spent in a bar where she meets rising rock star Sage Williams.  

Sage William is the angry asshole who is the lead singer of Misconceptions. He gave up on love a long time ago but when he meets a pretty blonde his outlook on the subject just might make a three sixty degree turn. However, Misconceptions is rising to fame faster than he thought possible. It is all Sage has been dreaming about since he picked up his first guitar but after meeting Maddie he isn't so sure that his willing to give her up just yet. 

What happens when you are forced to choose between your dream and the girl you love? Will Sage's love of fame drive him away from Maddie forever?
