One night, the authorities completely disappeared. It was as if every single government on Earth shut down. The suburbs were quiet while the capital cities went into Red Alert.
The next morning, the dead rose and happened to develop a craving for human flesh.
This is a recollection of events that lead up to the death of Miles Kang... Well, his half-death.

Ashes of the hollow
The world ended not with fire, but with silence. Cities crumbled. Nature crept back. And in the ruins, the dead did not stay dead. Kael, a quiet survivor hardened by loss, trusts only his instincts. Lara, fierce and stubborn, refuses to let the world strip away her humanity. Together, they wander through forests, rivers, and the bones of cities-searching for hope in a land crawling with horrors. But the dead are changing. Some move in packs. Some hunt with unnatural speed. And some... some remember. When whispers of a hidden sanctuary reach them-a place untouched by the plague-they must choose: keep running from the dark, or risk everything for the faintest spark of tomorrow. In a world where laughter feels like betrayal and love is a dangerous luxury, survival is not enough. They must rediscover what it means to live.
Condemned. Sequel to 'Don't Look Back'
My life has never been the same since that one fateful night. Since then I've seen too much blood and too much death. People aren't trustworthy anymore, no matter how long you've been with them, it's just a fact of life now. People are monsters. My group and I have been through hell and back, and it only seems to get worse. It's almost like we're condemned. The Altered.
guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) When We Were Humans | Book I
(Book 1) "The most primal desire for humans is to survive." Life is pretty normal for our heroes as they have grown up in a pretty safe world. Stress hits them as they are about to graduate high school and finals are right around the corner. Little do our heroes know about the impending doom of the entire world as they know it. For some of them, adapting to the new world won't be that hard. For others, they will need to learn. Quickly. Trust will be tested, bonds will be formed, skills will be developed, and the fight to survive will be fought. Where will our heroes be at the end of it? Will they be standing on top of the world once the ordeal is over? Or will they be wishing they were still human?Concluida
Zombies Vs Aliens: Respawn
A comic apocalyptic sci-fi romp. The zombie apocalypse has come and gone, the world has ended, humanity has crumbled... Nobody told the aliens. Alien brains have some interesting side effects on the ravenous undead. Just ask zombie Li, who wakes up after a quick bite. The world is a wasteland, she's a walking corpse, and her 'snack' melted into a noxious puddle of goo. It's not her day. Determined to figure out what the hell happened to her world, Li hits the road, seeking others like herself. The end of the world brings strange company, and stranger enemies. Struggling to wrap her head around being a zombie and already Li's existence is in danger thanks to impending alien invasion. It's going to take more than a handful of quirky zombies to stop them. She's going to need some serious fire power, like the remnants of the human race. If she can find them. #7 in Science Fiction on 12/3/15 ***Second Place for Science Fiction in Best Fiction Competition*** ***Contains a sprinkling of strong language and zombie violence. No aliens or zombies were harmed in the making of this novel. Recommended for ages 15 and up.***Concluida
A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) This story is copyright and built from my own imagination. This book was a special request from someone who helped me a lot. This viewpoint has less action than the original. WalkerZ - A Zombie Apocalypse Story
As a scout for what remains of the government in a post-outbreak world, Merryn is sent to investigate an old naval supply depot in a nearby city but finds so much more than zombies. ***** A year after a virus leaves the world infested with shambling zombies, those who remain attempt to rebuild a shattered country. Supported by her friends and colleagues, Merryn forges a path through the post virus landscape, finding other survivors, and searching for anything that could help everyone survive. The best and worst of humanity still live, but things take a turn as nature plays another card: a young woman could be the key to everyone's survival as one variant after another changes the behaviour of the walkers, once again threatening the scattered remnants of humanity as they teeter on the brink of extinction.
