Liz's life has been ups and downs, mainly downs. However her gang and Jasper are her life, she knows that without them, she'd probably be six feet under. Her abusive childhood has turned her into the stone cold street fighter that she is. 

One night, when gunshots are heard and a dead body is left behind, Liz's life takes yet another unexpected twist as she's thrown in the middle of a gang war. It's the Red Vipers versus the Mafia. 

However when Liz and the Red Vipers are forced to move school, they don't expect to become friends with outsiders. 

One guy catches Liz's eye on the first day. Zach. He's mysterious and dangerous. Always sitting in the back and trying not be noticed, the exact same as Liz, but that's where the similarities end. Liz gets closer and closer with Zach and Xander, causing old friendships to suffer as her best friends seem to drift further away. 

However when truths are told, can Liz really stay away from the bad boy who's captured her heart or will she stay loyal for her gang, who she owes her life to.
